How secure is my personal data?
Beyond 20/20 uses industry-standard technology such as firewalls and, when appropriate, secure socket layer communications to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information during transmission and data storage. Be advised, however, that no security system is perfect. Given enough resources and time, a determined intruder can break into almost any security system.
Beyond 20/20 does not store your personal information on computers connected directly to the Internet. In addition, credit card information is stored in an encrypted form on password-secured servers operating behind firewalls.
Although we make every reasonable attempt to ensure the confidentiality of your personal information, your privacy could still be compromised in any of several ways:
- Your personal information could be captured as it moves between your computer and the Beyond 20/20 Web site servers.
- Third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.
- Under certain circumstances, Beyond 20/20 could be required by government or law enforcement agencies to disclose personal information. Such disclosures will happen only after these agencies present the necessary legal instruments.
Because of the above considerations, Beyond 20/20 cannot promise – and you should not expect – that your personal information will remain private.
