Exciting upcoming release of
Beyond 20/20 Web Data Server Version 7!
Beyond 20/20 will be releasing version 7 of the Web
Data Server (WDS)in early October 2003. The enhancements made to version 7 were based on
extensive usability studies and on comments by our product users. Most excitingly, more enhancements
have been made to this release than to any WDS
release in the past. We are sure that you will be as
excited about the changes as we are!

Tip of the Month
Have you ever tried to create a chart this way with the Beyond 20/20 Browser? Open the table, then select the Chart button and then select the Tile button, which is the third button from the top left of the screen. This will split your screen in two with the table view on one side and the chart view on the other. At this point you can edit the chart view by dragging a dimension, an item or many items from the table screen to the chart screen. Make sure that you let go of your mouse button at the bottom part of the chart (when it is highlighted in black) or, if there is a legend in the chart, you can let go of the mouse button when you are over the legend (highlighted in black).
This method allows you to quickly change your item selections to be included in your chart without having to close it and go back to the table view. It also allows you to change your axes with ease.
You can also browse through the chart or table with the previous and next item buttons (arrow buttons up top). This will change the chart and table view simultaneously.
