Ivation Datasystems Announces Another Multiyear Agreement with INSEE of France

National statistical agencies continue to prefer Beyond 20/20 for their present and future data dissemination needs.

Ottawa, Canada – April 09, 1999 – Ivation Datasystems Inc. announced today that it has signed another multiyear agreement with the Institut National de la Statistique et des Études Économiques (INSEE) through which Beyond 20/20 will be the standard data browser for their electronic information products.

This is the second major contract Ivation has signed with INSEE in the past four months, the first being for the use of Beyond 20/20 as the standard internal tabulation engine running on Windows NT.

"INSEE has told us that their hot-line support costs have diminished considerably since they began using Beyond 20/20 for their electronic data products," says Jean Carr, Ivation Vice President of Marketing and Sales. "Their users appear to get self-sufficient and comfortable with Beyond 20/20 very quickly."

INSEE produces a number of electronic products for various statistical vertical markets. Current products published by INSEE with Beyond 20/20 include "La France et ses Régions," "L’Europe dans tous ses États," and "Atlas Zones d’Emploi." As a result of this agreement, a series of new Beyond 20/20-based products is now planned, including the electronic publication and dissemination of this year’s decennial census, which also happens to be France’s millennium census.
