Beyond 20/20 Releases Its Most Powerful Web Product Yet

Ottawa, Canada - February 18, 2003 - Beyond 20/20, the leading data dissemination solutions provider, released version 6.3 of the Beyond 20/20 Web Data Server today, the most powerful and feature-rich version of its Web product yet. With this new version, people who access data on the Internet can now find information relevant to them by creating their own personal profiles, and viewing the data as only they want to see it, every time.

Beyond 20/20 has also added advanced searching capabilities, features that are not currently offered by any other solution on the market. "Other tools return report titles as the search results," said Demetria Tsoutouras, product manager for Beyond 20/20. "Beyond 20/20's Web solution allows users to filter through millions of data points instantly and be provided with only the relevant data. It eliminates an enormous step in the search process."

The capability to integrate mapping is another high-value addition to the product, allowing organizations like the U.S. Census Bureau, Statistics Canada or other government agencies to display their data on the Web in a map, a table or a chart format. Users can navigate to data through a map, choose the regions they want to analyze, and see the data relevant to those regions. They can also create thematic maps dynamically based on data selected by the user.

In addition to complying fully with Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, Beyond 20/20 Web Data Server now supports Netscape version 7. As well, it gives data users the ability to calculate data totals and percentages dynamically, without the need for other software - only an Internet browser.
